ثور الكودو - Kudu bull
ثور الكادو
يعيش في شرق وجنوب أفريقيا. تعيش الذكور والإناث في جماعات منفصلة ويلتقون في أوقات التزاوج فقط . يتغذى على الفواكه وأوراق الأشجار. لحمه من النوع الجاف وطعمه يشبه طعم كبد الأبقار. وكذلك يستعمل قرنه كآلة موسيقية.
The kudus
lives in eastern and southern Africa. Males are seen with females only in the mating season.
Kudus are browsers and eat leaves and shoots. In dry seasons, they eat wild watermelons and other fruit. Kudu meat is similar to venison (deer), with a slight gamey, liver-like flavor.
A kudu horn is a musical instrument made from the horn of the kudu antelope.

giraffe's strange drinking way - طريقة الزرافة الغريبة في شرب الماء
هذه هي الطريقة التي تشرب بها الزرافة الماء، حيث تقوم بثني أو فتح رجليها الأماميتين بهذه الطريقة حتى تُسهل وصولها للماء، وذلك بسبب طول رجليها الأماميتين الزائد عن الخلفيتين.

العقاب البازي المزين - The ornate hawk-eagle
العقاب البازي المُزيَّن طائر جارح يعيش في المناطق الاستوائية من الأمريكتين، يتميز هذا النوع بألوانه الزاهية، والتي تختلف بوضوح عن الأنواع الأخرى.
طائر متوسط الحجم أو كبير، فطوله يتراوح ما بين 56 إلى 68.5 سنتمتر، والمسافة بين جناحيه 117 إلى 142 سنتمترا، ووزنه ما بين 960 إلى 1650 غراما، وله عرف (ريش على الرأس) بارز مستدق ينتصب عندما يُستثار الطائر.
الفرائس الأساسية للعقاب البازي المزين هي الطيور، فهو يصطاد الطيور ذات الأحجام من 180 غراما إلى 8 كيلوغرامات، وهو يصطاد عدة أنواع من الحيوانات مثل: الطوقان والحمام والمقو والببغاء والكوتينغا والدجاج، كما يمكن أن يصطاد الثديات مثل: السناجب والجرذان والسعادين، كما يصطاد الزواحف بين الحين والآخر.
The ornate hawk-eagle (Spizaetus ornatus) is a bird of prey from the tropical Americas. Like all eagles. This species is notable for its vivid colors, which differ markedly between adult and immature birds.
This is a medium-large raptor, at about 56–68.5 cm (22–27 in) in length, 117–142 cm (46–56 in) across the wings and weighing about 960-1,650 g (2.1-3.6 lbs). It has a prominent pointed crest, raised when excited.
Birds are the principal prey. Prey items have ranged in size from 180 g (6.4 oz) to 8 kg (18 lbs) when taken. Prey species have included little blue herons, curassows, toucans, wood-quails, pigeons, macaws, parrots, cotingas, chickens and even a black vulture. Mammals are also significant prey, with agoutis, squirrels, rats, procyonids and monkeys often taken. Reptiles are also occasionally hunted.

يملك عيون صفراء اللون ومنقار أسود يبلغ طوله من 52 إلى 71 سم
وطول جناحه بين 125 إلى 150 سم، ويبلغ وزنه من 1.6 كغ إلى 3 كغ
صياد ممتاز يتغذى على الثديات كالفئران والسناجب والأرانب والراكون وكثير من الطيور كالبط وغيرها
The snowy owl. This yellow-eyed, black-beaked white bird is easily recognizable. It is 52–71 cm (20–28 in) long, with a 125–150 cm (49–59 in) wingspan. Also, these owls can weigh anywhere from 1.6 to 3 kg. They are amazing hunters and feed on mice, squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, ducks and many birds.
